DETERMINATION OF THE EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY COMPETENCIES OF SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic that started in December 2019 led to the closure of schools on a global level, and implementation strict social distancing measures has rapid prevalent changes conventional forms education instruction. In this period where distance is preferred processes, technology competencies teachers have gained importance. context, study aimed determine special teachers. descriptive included 114 data were collected by using “Education Technology Competencies Scale for Teachers” analyzed SPSS 25 package software. maximum total score could be obtained scale was used 190. It determined that, with mean 155.27, participants had an competency level 81.72%. which investigated technological teachers, no significant difference found based participants’ gender, professional experience or areas teaching. Considering items dimensions scale, it male more competent terms technical knowledge technology, while female they effectively classes, instruction materials, as well communication both students parents.
